Check out the Just Creative Design blog. I ran across it while searching font info a while back and love it. He offers a type classification ebook. You have to register on the site to get it. It’s really cool and should answer any questions you have on fonts. http://justcreativedesign.com/featured-articles/type-classification-ebook/

A good way to describe what handwritten typography is….that they are fonts or typefaces that simulate the look and flow of handwriting.
How do I use different fonts that I have downloaded on my computer?
15.February, 2010
I have downloaded fonts of a different language (Tamil), and when I install them, and try to type with them, it still types in normal English letters.
You have to move them to your font folder in order for your computer to find them. Go to the folder you saved the font and do the cut command. Then go to Control Panel and paste it into the Fonts folder. Once you open up Word or something it will be able to find the font then.
Which program is better for Kinetic Typography?
12.February, 2010
Hi, I have been using Sony Vegas for some typography videos for fun, but it seems like that program wasn’t made for it. I’ve been watching some really good typography videos and most of them have been done with After Effects and I’ve been wondering which I should start using?
Continue using vegas or learn after effects?
I find that it’s easier to do it in After Effects, or even Flash, than it is with Vegas. It’s no fun having to learn new software but I think you’ll be more pleased with the results in After Effects.
How to copy fonts from font folder to another directory?
12.February, 2010
If I right click in the fonts directory, I get no copy or move option. How do I move fonts out of this directory and into another?
even though you do not see any option when you right click on the filename, however if you go to Edit menu (next to file menu in windows explore) you will see "Copy" option there which you can use to copy the file anywhere you want.
What type of Face Wash should I use?
12.February, 2010
I don’t have acne or greasy skin.
My skin is sensitive.
I get a pimple once a blue moon.
What type of face wash should I use?
I have skin just like yours. I use Clean & Clear Daily pore cleanser. It is really gentle and makes your face very soft. Also, the Neutrogena Wave, or Clean & Clear morning burst. All of these work really well and are not expensive.

Which of these serifs do you think pairs better with Gotham and why: Chronicle Text and Mercury Text.?
03.February, 2010
I’m working on a publication proposal and I’ve been looking at choosing a decent, all-around serif typeface for the text in my group’s publications. For headlines, I’m using Tungsten. For bylines, I’ve chosen Gotham. Now, for all body text, I’ve narrowed down my choice between Chronicle and Mercury. I like the natural tracking of Mercury and it has a more contemporary look to me than Chronicle. But Chronicle looks so solid to me and I love how uniformed it looks.
Can anyone help me with this?
BTW, here are examples of each:
